Morgan starred in a Safe Sex for Men and Women informational video on AIDS education and Prevention. Proceeds from the video were donated in part towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the main force behind many fund-raising campaigns for the spread of the disease. Morgan also gave a speech to an Congressional special committee that focused on AIDS education. She sits member of the board of Governors of APLA and the Board of Directors of Amfar. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon general of Canada has contacted her to replace him on occasions at AIDS related occasions. Additionally she hosted the AIDS Awareness Special along with Steve Bell. Ted Koppell has interviewed her twice about AIDS during Nightline. Morgan is nominated by the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially specifically for Morgan. In the spring, she appeared alongside Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The film was produced By Zerneck and Sertner and starred Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. The next time she appeared, Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady together with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan played a part in the psychological thriller that was exclusively produced for the USA Network garnering one of the most impressive ratings in the history of the network.
